More About Yianni

Yianni is a registered psychologist and health psychology registrar who takes a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to therapy. He has experience across hospital, community, and private settings, working with a wide range of presentations including mood and anxiety disorders, chronic pain, psychosis, trauma, and health-related challenges.

He has a particular interest in the link between physical and mental health and supporting clients to live fuller, more meaningful lives despite life’s challenges. Yianni draws from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and trauma-focused approaches, tailoring treatment to each individual.

Experienced in both individual and group therapy, Yianni has worked within Medicare, NDIS, DVA, and Return to Work frameworks. His work is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and a strong commitment to professional ethics. In therapy, Yianni helps people make sense of their experiences, reconnect with their values, and build practical skills to manage distress, shift unhelpful patterns, and move toward their goals.

Our location is serviced by Bus Stop 16 on South Road, with regular services running between Adelaide and Seaford. This provides an easy public transport option for those travelling from the city or southern suburbs.

We are also close to Ascot Park Railway Station, giving you another convenient travel option if you prefer to use the train network.
